There was a time in my life whereby the word that best described me was ‘frail’. I was so frail.

It was always one fever, one pain, one flu, one insomnia, one ulcer or the other. It was so bad that I started anticipating the sickness. I would pray prayers like ‘God the way I’m feeling I know I will fall sick, so, please shift the sickness forward’. According to my word the sickness will surely come.

I did not realize I was indirectly proclaiming this over my life until I got to the point whereby I was just tired. I had to remind myself that no matter how I felt, God had good thoughts towards me and He has made provision for not just my healing but my health. Little by little, a subtle shift began happening.

In my final year, one of my course mates observed that he has not seen me with cough and catarrh in a while. (If you knew me then, my colds came with fever, teary eyes and weakness of the body. It was the worse thing that could ever happen to me) I just smiled in my heart as I realized I had actually been delivered.

One faithful day as I was struggling with one sickness again, I picked my phone and searched for all the verses in the bible where God promised He would heal. I wrote some of them down by hand in my journal and proclaimed them over my life.

Below are some of the promises of God concerning your healing and your health. Confess them over your life and watch God work.

He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”
Exodus 15:26 (NLT)

Thus saith the Lord , I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
2 Kings 2:21 (KJV)

“I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. Behold, I am healing you;
2 Kings 20:5 (AMP)

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalms 103:3 (KJV)

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Psalms 107:20 (KJV)

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
Psalms 43:5 (NLT)

It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts] And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.
Proverbs 3:8 (AMP)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord
Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Jeremiah 33:6 (KJV)

But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2 (NLT)

Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. Matthew 4:23 (NLT)

These are just 12 verses out of the many promises of God concerning your life in the bible. Form a habit of proclaiming them over your life instead of making negative confessions. Faith is declaring things that be not as though they were. Have faith, believe in God and begin to experience not just divine healing but also health.

P.S: I have discovered a new found love in the NLT version in case you did not notice.😊

Thank you for reading. Thank you for taking out time to follow, share, like and comment. I sincerely do not take them for granted. God bless you
